Spectrumwise

SpectrumWise has provided assistance to a number of new spectrum regulators in establishing legislation, regulations, and spectrum planning rules and procedures.  This has inevitably led to ongoing work supporting new spectrum administrators and planning engineers in the day to day performance of their work.  While this support has been freely given to established clients, it has grown to the point where the demand for a formal service has become clear.  Therefore SpectrumWise has established a business unit to develop this market.

Two options are available:

The period contract option typically provides up to 50 hours of support per month at a retainer monthly fixed negotiated rate, which translates to an hourly rate that is much lower than could normally be charged by a professional spectrum consultancy service.  It is only possible to provide this benefit because some clients may not use their full quota of hours per month.  If on some months they require above quota service, it may be possible to negotiate additional hours at a more conventional hourly rate.  Period contracts having   monthly fixed quotas as low as two hours may be negotiated along similar lines.

Availability must be negotiated on a case by case basis, with period contract customers having priority.

Usually support will be requested and provided via e-mail or telephone, however personal instruction can be provided on the regulator’s premises by arrangement if that is required.

Absolute confidentiality is assured with an NDA being attached to the contract.  However, seminars on spectrum topics shared with other agencies facing similar issues may be arranged by mutual agreement.
